Those scandals raised the awareness among patients and many were beginning to look for new ways of health care. The change in the perception of the patient is clearly visible in the rise of Heilpraktiker!

The Contagan (1961/62) and Menocil (1968) scandal just opened the perception but with the green movement in the late 70s and early 80s many things changed! It was a time when many began questioning the strategies of the government (security retrofitting) and the strategies of multinational companies like Nestle, which was marketing artifical Baby food in the developing countries. The populations began to criticize various project, they got proactive!
